 1) She began the day by joining President Biden in the Oval Office to receive the President's Daily Briefings.

2) At 1:30 pm, Vice President Harris joined President Biden in the Oval Office once more to receive Senators to discuss Infrastructure Investment. They were joined by Secretary Pete Buttigieg of the Transport Department and Secretary Gina Raimondo of the Commerce Department.

They met with Senator Capito, Senator Barrasso, Senator Blunt, Senator Crapo, Senator Toomey, and Senator Wicker to discuss the pressing need to invest in American infrastructure, continuing the bipartisan negotiations he’s been having on this leading priority for his Administration.

3) Later both President Biden and Vice President Harris met in the Rose Garden for a press conference where the President delivered remarks on the COVID-19 response and the vaccination program.

These remarks were different that than the others as it was the first time the President and Vice President were seen with their masks off. This is following an update from The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) who said that those who were fully vaccinated can be outside without their masks



4) Then she held an in-person and virtual roundtable discussion convened for the first meeting of the Task Force on Worker Organizing and Empowerment. This discussion was co-chaired by Secretary Marty Walsh of the Labour Department.



Also attending were Energy's Secretary Jennifer Granholm, Transport Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Treasury's Secretary Janet Yellen, Cedric Richmond Director of the Office of Public Engagement.

Thursday's discussion was about how the Administration can create good union jobs, help workers organize, and grow the economy.

 1) She began the day by delivering opening remarks in a pre-recorded video at the Bolstering U.S. COVID-19 relief efforts in India: Perspectives from the Diaspora hosted by the States Department's Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs.

In the last weeks, India has seen a great increase in case of COVID-19 infections during this second wave of the pandemic and is struggling with more than 4,00,000 daily new coronavirus cases being reported in the past few days, and hospitals are reeling under a shortage of medical oxygen and beds.

Vice President Kamala Harris in her remarks has said that India's welfare is critically important to the United States

2) At noon, she had lunch with President Biden in the Private Dining Room

3) Then she joined President Biden in the Oval Office to receive the week's Economic Briefings. Read here.

4) Later in the day, Vice President Harris attended the President's Cabinet meeting held in the Blue Room. Almost all Secretaries and Cabinet members were in attendance whilst others joined in virtually.

5) Then Vice President Harris virtually met with Mexican President, HE President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. 



The public part of the meeting focused mostly on immigration, a key issue in U.S.-Mexico relationship along with trade, border security and the pandemic. As we all know, Vice President Harris will be taking her first Foreign trip next month June 8th to Mexico and Guatemala to hold talks about immigration and its cause.

 Here is Madam Vice President's schedule for Thursday:

1) She began the day by arriving in Congress to the Senate Floor where she gave the tie breaking vote on the American Rescue Plan for the COVID-19 relief Plan. After the Senate had a 50-50 deadlocked vote on whether to take up the $1.9 trillion relief plan, the vice-president was forced to cast a tie-breaking 51st vote to approve the motion to proceed for debate.

2)  Then she returned to the White House and joined President Biden in the Oval Office for the President's Daily Briefs.

3) Later in the afternoon, she again joined President Biden in the Oval Office together with Transport Secretary, Secretary Pete Buttigieg to meet with a bipartisan group of House members to discuss the country's infrastructure. 

4) Later in the evening, she spoke with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. During the call, both leaders spoke about the US-Israel multilateral relationship, COVID-19, coordination on Iran, Israel’s warming relations with other Middle Eastern countries, and recent groundbreaking normalization agreements with countries in the Arab and Muslim world. According to the White House readout, "The Vice President emphasized the United States’ unwavering commitment to Israel’s security. She expressed strong support for Israel’s recent groundbreaking normalization agreements with countries in the Arab and Muslim world, and stressed the importance of advancing peace, security, and prosperity for Israelis and Palestinians alike. The Vice President and Prime Minister agreed on the importance of continuing close cooperation and partnership on regional security issues, including Iran’s nuclear program and the regime’s dangerous regional behavior. They discussed the importance of advancing scientific cooperation between our two countries and efforts to contain the COVID-19 pandemic. They also noted their respective governments’ opposition to the International Criminal Court’s attempts to exercise its jurisdiction over Israeli personnel."

 Here's Madam Vice President's for Thursday February 11th:

For Thursday, Madam Vice President Harris joined President Biden in the Oval Office for a meeting with Senators from both parties on the critical need to invest in modern and sustainable American infrastructure. Transport Secretary, Secretary Pete Buttigieg joined in virtually as this falls under his department's portfolio.

Then Vice President Harris joined in the first ever National Climate Task Force virtual meeting chaired by Gina McCarthy who is the the White House National Climate Advisor.

In line with the President's and Vice President's wishes to tackle climate crisis which will reunite various government departments. Joining in were Treasury Department's secretary, Sec. Janet Yellen, Transport's Secretary, Sec. Pete Buttigieg, Amb. John Kerry The Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, Amb. Susan Rice and many others

 For Madam Vice President's schedule for February 3rd it ran a little bit different than usual.

Madam Vice President Harris began the day accompanied by Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff to the Rotunda of the Capitol where they paid their respects to U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian D. Sicknick, 42, as he lies in honour.

Officer Sicknick died as a result of injuries he sustained during the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol. He will lie in honor until February 3 and will then be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

Swearing in

She returned to the White House where she sworn in a new member into the Biden-Harris administration. Former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg became the latest confirmed member by the Senate by a vote of 86-13 to join the administration. He also became the First-openly gay man and youngest to become a senior member. Secretary Pete Buttigieg is now the youngest and 19th Secretary of Transportation and Head of the Department of Transportation.

Meeting with Democratic Senators:

She later joined President Biden at the Oval Office to have a meeting with Democratic Senators to discuss the $1.9trillion American Rescue Plan. Amongst the Senators, they met with was Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer(D-NY). 


Following that President Biden and Vice President Harris received their Presidential Daily Brief in a close door meeting at the Oval Office.
