1) She began the day by arriving in Congress to the Senate Floor where she gave the tie breaking vote on the American Rescue Plan for the COVID-19 relief Plan. After the Senate had a 50-50 deadlocked vote on whether to take up the $1.9 trillion relief plan, the vice-president was forced to cast a tie-breaking 51st vote to approve the motion to proceed for debate.

2)  Then she returned to the White House and joined President Biden in the Oval Office for the President's Daily Briefs.

3) Later in the afternoon, she again joined President Biden in the Oval Office together with Transport Secretary, Secretary Pete Buttigieg to meet with a bipartisan group of House members to discuss the country's infrastructure.

4) Later in the evening, she spoke with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. During the call, both leaders spoke about the US-Israel multilateral relationship, COVID-19, coordination on Iran, Israel’s warming relations with other Middle Eastern countries, and recent groundbreaking normalization agreements with countries in the Arab and Muslim world. According to the White House readout, "The Vice President emphasized the United States’ unwavering commitment to Israel’s security.
