 1) On Wednesday July 21st, Vice President Harris received poll workers and election officials into the Vice President's ceremonial office for an in person and virtual round table meeting to discuss their service to the country.

2) In her duties as President of the Senate, VP Harris left for Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., U.S. for a vote on the Infrastructure bill as Senate Republicans were set to thwart the majority leaders attempt to speed President Biden's agenda through the chamber by blocking his bid to start Senate debate on a yet-unfinished infrastructure plan. Unfortunately at this moment the bill didn't past.

 On Wednesday:

1) Vice President Harris joined President Biden in the Oval Office for the President's Daily Briefings.

2) Then she went to the Southern Auditorium where she hosted a virtual "Voting Rights," listening session with civil rights and voting rights leaders. Vice President Harris is leading the Biden administration's efforts on voting rights.

With the Voting rights bill not passing in the Senate on Tuesday, Vice President Harris further discussed the work ahead. Saying to everyone that they were not giving up or giving in, and that the right to vote is a fundamental right for everyone.. They are continuing the fight to protect and strengthen the right to vote.

3) At noon, she met again with President Biden in the Private Dining Room.

4) Then she also held a listening session marking Pride month in the Vice Presidential Ceremony Office. She began the meeting by saying:  “My pronouns are she & her. You as community activists, you all have your eyes and ears on the ground. As you know I have been working on issues of equality and fairness, justice for a very long tim. And there's still so much work to be done.”

Madam Vice President continued with: "For me, Pride has always been both a joy-filled celebration—and a time to recommit to the fight for equality. Today I met with LGBTQ+ advocates to discuss the progress our nation has made, and the work we must do to achieve full equality."

Look Details:

For both events, Madam Vice President was wearing a new unidentified suit trousers in Lilac coloured. Pairing the jacket, with her L’Agence ‘Cory Tee’ ($85).

Emphasizing on the additional areas which requires urgent action, including: identifying the factors that could trigger an immediate ‘no regrets’ global response to the next pandemic, how to establish regional surge capacity to build resilience against outbreaks, innovative methods of finance, and how these lines of effort will be coordinated among Member States.

She made it clear that preventing the next pandemic will require strong partnerships and collaboration amongst every country. She then thanked participants countries for coming together and taking an important first step toward that goal and expressed their hope to continue the dialogue at upcoming multilateral engagements, which includes the Rome Global Health Summit and the World Health Assembly which takes place next month.

This blog "Kamala Harris' Closet," was established by Zef Dalhia to follow the works and fashion of the newly elected Vice President Kamala Harris as she will soon begin her four year mandate serving the American people and its interest alongside President-Elect Joe Biden.

Like other style blogs created by Zef Dalhia(Queen Rania's Closet), I will be respectfully in making sure that Madame VP's work is a centrepiece while making sure that her fashion and style choices will be a supporting work.

This isn't a political blog, we can discuss the politics on twitter and the blog isn't affiliated in any shape or form with Ms. Harris, her office or the Biden-Harris government
