 1) She joined President Biden to receive the President’s Daily Brief at the Oval Office.

2) Then she welcomed and received disabilities advocates to discuss at a round table meeting about voting rights at the Vice President's Ceremonial Office.



She also heard about their experiences about casting their vote, and discuss protecting the right to vote. According to the media present at the close door meeting, "Much of the conversation revolved around handicap ramps and transportation issues. During the pandemic last year, Babis said, many access issues were exacerbated."

3) Then she received American singer-songwriter and actress Olivia Rodrigo to her office. Ms. Rodrigo who was earlier received by President Biden in the Oval Office. President Biden was joined by Dr. Anthony Fauci for a vaccination campaign on social media which will involve a few social media celebrities.




4) Then she joined the President for a meeting with a bipartisan group of Governors and Mayors to discuss the importance of the critical investments in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework to States and cities across the country. Also attending were Secretary Raimondo of Commerce, and Secretary Walsh of Labor also attend

 1) President Biden and Vice President Harris welcomed members of Congress Leadership to the White House where they were receive in the Oval Office.

The group who attended were made up of House Majority Leader and Speaker, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Senate Majority Leader, Chuck Schumer and Senate Minority Leader McConnell. President Biden and Vice President Harris worked with them to identify areas where they could collaborate, especially with regard to infrastructure, on which the leaders agreed there was a need for investment.

2) According to an article by People's magazine, Vice President Harris hosted a virtual Vaccine Discussion with a diverse group of celebrities and influencers for a discussion on the best methods to reach the public with information about the COVID-19 vaccine.

The event was close to the press and public but according to People, Vice President Harris was joined by Health Expert and senior advisor to the administration's COVID-19 response team, Dr. Marcella Nunez Smith, 

The celebrities and influencers according to the article which included Kim Kardashian, Joe Jonas, Karlie Kloss, Lily Collins and Camila Cabello.

 For Tuesday, Vice President Harris spoke with a foreign leader. In a call with Tunisia's Head of State, HE President Kais Saied, she reaffirmed the strong U.S. commitment to Tunisia.  



According to the call readout sent out by the White House, "both leaders discussed the importance of the longstanding friendship between the United States and Tunisia. Reaffirming the importance of democratic institutions, the rule of law, and fighting corruption. The Vice President underscored the United States’ sustained commitment to supporting Tunisia’s democracy. In addition, the Vice President noted Tunisia’s economic reform commitments amidst challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and she voiced support for Tunisia’s discussions with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and timely implementation of these measures.  The two leaders also discussed the importance of continued security cooperation between the two countries."

2) Then she meet with members of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus in the Vice President's ceremonial office. 

During their meeting which comes during Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Vice President Harris who was a former member of the Caucus discussed with the members on the impact of COVID-19, their work to stop the rise in hate crimes, and how the American Jobs Plan and the American Families Plan will help the AANHPI(Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander) community and all Americans.

This is the second time that the Vice President is meeting with the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus. She previously met them on April 15th with President Biden

 On Thursday, here's Madam Vice Presidents publicly known schedule:

During the day, she met in her ceremonial office with voting rights and civil rights leaders to discuss the critical importance of protecting the right to vote. 



With many states now voting in laws which restricts voting rights which mostly targets BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Colour), it was important for the Vice President with the Administration to join in the fight where voters are not disenfranchised in their various states during election period

 On March 1st, Madam Vice President Kamala Harris took part and gave the Keynote Speech in the virtual CityLab 2021 conference organised and hosted by Bloomberg Philanthropies and the Aspen Institute

During her speech, Vice President Harris spoke about the Stimulus Plan for cities and towns. According to MVP Harris the U.S. has the "imperative to strengthen infrastructure in our cities and create good union jobs" as the Biden-Harris administration prepares a sweeping stimulus package to follow its $1.9 trillion Covid relief proposition.

 Yesterday, Madam Vice President Harris was in residency at Blair House while she gave a courtesy call to France's President Emmanuel Macron. During the call, VP Harris expressed her commitment to strengthen the bilateral centuries old relationship between the USA and France and to revitalize the alliance between the transatlantic countries.



Also discussed was COVID-19, climate change, democracy in both countries and around the world, regional politics

 Here's Madam Vice President's for Thursday February 11th:

For Thursday, Madam Vice President Harris joined President Biden in the Oval Office for a meeting with Senators from both parties on the critical need to invest in modern and sustainable American infrastructure. Transport Secretary, Secretary Pete Buttigieg joined in virtually as this falls under his department's portfolio.

Then Vice President Harris joined in the first ever National Climate Task Force virtual meeting chaired by Gina McCarthy who is the the White House National Climate Advisor.

Janet Yellen, Transport's Secretary, Sec. Pete Buttigieg, Amb. John Kerry The Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, Amb. Susan Rice and many others

 It is a new week in this blessed month of February and it's week 3 since the January 20th inauguration. 

Here is Madam Vice President's known schedule for February 8th 2021:

 Like every day, Madam Vice President Harris joins President Biden for the President's Daily Briefs at the Oval Office. 

A few hours later, President Biden and Vice President Harris met again at the South Court Auditorium to virtually tour the State Farm Stadium vaccination site in Glendale, Arizona.



They were guided through the virtual walkthrough tour by the Director of Arizona Department of Health Services, Dr. Cara Christ, where the president and the vice president were shown an up close view at the workings and non-workings at State Farm Stadium. Dr. Cara inform them that they administer around 8,000 to 9,000 doses a day, even though it's capable of 12,000

The stadium is the first stadium to be used as a vaccination site which gave its first shot on January 11th. 30 more stadiums from across the country which the NFL through its commissioner of football announced to the President will be used including their parking lots as vaccination sites.

Yesterday Janet Yellen, President Biden's nominee for the Department of Treasury was confirmed by the Senate Finance Committee marking her own history by becoming the first female Secretary of Treasury. 

Today on the White House's step, the first female Vice President sworn in the first female Secretary of Treasury. Secretary Janet Yellen who was previously the first woman to run the Federal Reserve became as from today the 78th Secretary of Treasure and the first person ever to have led the three most powerful economic bodies in government: Treasury, the central bank, and the White House Council of Economic Advisers.

Madam Vice President Harris then joined President Biden at the State Dining Room where President Biden held a press conference and signed a set of executive orders aimed at advancing racial equity across American society, including combating discrimination in housing policies and ending the use of private prisons especially for the Department of Justice. 

Later on Madam Vice President went to the National Health Institute, where she was administered the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccin.

January 22nd, was quite a busy day for Madam Vice President with her hitting her second full day with order of the day COVID-19, the economy, which began with a close press, Presidential Daily brief with President Joe Biden in the Oval Office.

Then they move to the private dining room where they had lunch and was back at the Oval Office for another round on briefings and this time around on the state of the economy and its recovery.

Later in the evening, Vice President Harris was back at her office where she held a virtual meeting with National Economic Council Director Brian Deese and inspiring small business owners from across the country to discuss Covid-19, its effect on small businesses and the Biden-Harris administration’s plan to address the ongoing economic crisis

Prior to last night's event, MVP Harris first went back to the Senate to handle her first affairs as Vice President by swearing in Georgia's two Senators, Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossof; and her replacement California' Alex Padilla bring the equality in the senate. The senate quickly confirmed President Joe Biden's first Cabinet member. Avril Haines was confirmed as Director of National Intelligence in an 84-10 vote. She also recognize the Senate's Majority Leader, Sen. Chuck Schumer(D-NY) and Senate president pro tempore, Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt who is the longest serving senator.

After which President Joe Biden, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, Madam Vice President Kamala D. Harris, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff and their respectives families were at the White House to take part in the Celebrating America festivities which took place instead of the usual Inauguration Ball due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Celebrating America which was hosted by actor Tom Hanks was a 90 minutes of celebrations and entertainment. I will not go into much details to not make the post long.

 Yesterday January 19th, one of the most important pre-inauguration activities took place at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington with which President-elect Joe Biden, Incoming First Lady Jill Biden, Vice-President-elect Kamala Harris and Incoming Second-Gentleman Doug Emhoff took part.

The ceremony to remember the lost victims of COVID-19 was a solemn ceremony where various people gave eulogies and we heard the beautiful song Amazing Grace by Lori Marie Key a nurse from Michigan and also Grammy winning Gospel singer Yolanda Adams beautifully singing Halleluyah.

In his speech, according to WYFF4 Joe Biden said "To heal, we must remember. And it's hard sometimes to remember, But that's how we heal. It's important to do that as a nation." With Vice President-elect Kamala added: "For many months we have grieved by ourselves. Tonight, we grieve and begin healing together."

With the USA reaching and biting it's own record and the World's number of death related to COVID-19 earlier in the day which is sadly 400,000, the National Mall NPS was decorated with candles with represented every 1000 lives lost and 200,000 flags representing those of died and from different countries which represented the number of people who would have attended Today's Inauguration but will now be virtual due to the current pandemic.

Look Details:

Although last night's event was all about the ceremony taking place, I could help but notice what both VP-elect Kamala Harris and incoming First Lady Jill Biden where both wearing. Both ladies wore designers who played a role during this pandemic to mark the day

Thanks to Vanessa Friedman, Kamala wore a Bespoke Camel coat from New York-based and Haitian born Kerby Jean Raymond's Pyer Moss. During this pandemic Pyer Moss has made PPE and masks for frontline worker in the NYC area. Paired a with a pair of Manolo Blahnik Clotobeck 90 black calf leather elasticated knee high boots



Whilst incoming First Lady Jill Biden wore a beautiful coat and dress by Jonathan Cohen made from recycle masks. She wore Jonathan Cohen's Unity Wrap Coat and Unity Paneled Dress which are currently up for pre-order. Special thanks to Susan from What Kamala Wore.

 After officially resigning from the Senate earlier in the day, Incoming Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff were at Martha's Table in Washington, D.C, where they volunteer and took part in the National Day of Service as well as Martin Luther King Day.
