On November 24th, President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris held a virtual meeting with mayors from around the country at the Queen Centre in Wilmington, Delaware.

The meeting was held with bipartisan members of the US Conference of Mayors. The conference is made up of mayors from over 1400 cities with a population of over 300 thousands. During the meeting mayors equally asked federal officials for help in fighting the coronavirus pandemic and economic impact it continues to show us.

Mayors also congratulated the Presidential team for winning the elections, how they have been working over the years with both the President-elect and Vice-President-elect and were pleased to be able to discuss important priorities for the year ahead.
Just like during the meeting with state governors, both the President-elect and Vice President-elect re-iterated their administration's and federal government's pledge to support local government during Harris and Biden's closing remarks.
