In Day 2 of her American Rescue Plan tour, Madam Vice President accompanied by Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff travelled to Denver Colorado.

But before boarding Air Force Two at Joint Base Andrews, she gave remarks at the United Nations 65th session of the Commission on the Status of Women. This was Madam Vice President's first appearance at the United Nations where she championed women's rights in democracy.

In a pre-recording, Madam Vice President said that there is urgency in the realities women face, shaped global standards on women’s rights, and stood for gender equality similar as to why the Commission was first founded.

She first took part in a virtual chat with the staff of Plan de Salud Del Valle Inc. a Fort Lupton vaccine clinic. According to reports, Madam Vice President was suppose to visit a number of clinics including the Eastern Plains clinic and Plan de Salud Del Valle Inc. but got disrupted because of a mechanical issue with Air Force Two which the vice president use to go to Las Vegas and Los Angeles on Monday, her first day of the tour.

A smaller backup plane was sent to fly her to Denver, which cause Vice President Harris to review her in-person vaccine clinic plan at Plan De Salud Del Valle Inc. and instead held a video call where she spoke with the clinic’s staff. She praised their work, making particular note of the clinic’s focus on helping minority communities get vaccinated.

Then she and Doug left for Maria Empanada for an early afternoon roundtable discussion with small businesses owner. Maria Empanada is a business owned by Lorena Cantarovici which operates a small chain of empanada shops in the Mile High City.

Madam Vice President Harris had a busy press run day on Wednesday but first here's what she did.

She began the day by joining President Biden for the President's Daily Briefs in the Oval Office.

She also granted her first National Network Interview since inauguration four weeks ago. This interview was hosted by NBC's Today's host Savannah Guthrie. The interview concentrated on COVID-19, relief, Vaccines, Impeachment Trial and her evolving role as Vice President.

She began the interview by remembering those in Texas and its surrounding states who are currently without electricity and water due to the snowstorm and change of weather happen in their states. She also continued by saying that the federal government is doing whatever it takes to send federal emergency items, President Biden signing E.Os to release funds and sending FEMA and the National Guard as well as working with states to bring back electricity.

On the reopening of schools, Madam Vice President repeated President Biden's words which he said during a Town Hall in Wisconsin on Tuesday night. She said that it was their administration's goal is to get as many K-8 schools reopened within their first 100 days, allowing students to attend class five days a week. "The issue here is not just about statistics — it's about our kids, it's about their parents. It's about the fact that every day our kids are missing essential, critical days in their educational development."

"Each day in the life of a child is a very long time," she continued, "And that's why we've got to collectively do everything in our power to reopen our schools as quickly as possible, as safely as possible."

On if teachers should be a priority in receiving the vaccine, Madam Vice President replied “Teachers should be a priority,” further adding “they are critical to our children's development, they should be able to teach in a safe place and expand the minds and the opportunities of our children. So teachers should be a priority along with other front-line workers.”

When asked about her reaction on the Impeachment from her former Prosecutor's lense if there is a strong criminal case against former Pres Donald Trump

MVP replied "I haven't reviewed the case through the lens of being a prosecutor. I'm reviewing the case of COVID in America through the lens of being the vice president."
