MVP Kamala's schedule for March 16th
In Day 2 of her American Rescue Plan tour, Madam Vice President accompanied by Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff travelled to Denver Colorado.
But before boarding Air Force Two at Joint Base Andrews, she gave remarks at the United Nations 65th session of the Commission on the Status of Women. This was Madam Vice President's first appearance at the United Nations where she championed women's rights in democracy.
In a pre-recording, Madam Vice President said that there is urgency in the realities women face, shaped global standards on women’s rights, and stood for gender equality similar as to why the Commission was first founded.

MVP Harris also said, "This year, in considering the status of women, especially as it pertains to the participation of women in decision-making, we must also consider the status of democracy."
She also announce that the United States was returning to the Human Rights Council.
2) Then she and Doug boarded Air Force Two for Denver International Airport, where they were welcome by Colorado Governor, Governor Jared Polis and Lieutenant Governor, Dianne Primavera.
She first took part in a virtual chat with the staff of Plan de Salud Del Valle Inc. a Fort Lupton vaccine clinic. According to reports, Madam Vice President was suppose to visit a number of clinics including the Eastern Plains clinic and Plan de Salud Del Valle Inc. but got disrupted because of a mechanical issue with Air Force Two which the vice president use to go to Las Vegas and Los Angeles on Monday, her first day of the tour.
A smaller backup plane was sent to fly her to Denver, which cause Vice President Harris to review her in-person vaccine clinic plan at Plan De Salud Del Valle Inc. and instead held a video call where she spoke with the clinic’s staff. She praised their work, making particular note of the clinic’s focus on helping minority communities get vaccinated.
Then she and Doug left for Maria Empanada for an early afternoon roundtable discussion with small businesses owner. Maria Empanada is a business owned by Lorena Cantarovici which operates a small chain of empanada shops in the Mile High City.
Where she is said that the administration is making sure that they continue to stay. “We want to make sure you can stay open,” MVP told everyone present.
