Incoming Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff sat down for an interview with Jane Pauley for CBS Sunday.

The interview which was shown on Sunday on your local CBS station at 9 am EST began with Kamala first where she was asked about her historic career from her days in San Francisco's district attorney office to being the first Black, first South Asian woman elected District Attorney then California state Attorney General to California's senator and now Vice President elect and how this historic events will positive influence the current and future generations.

Kamala also spoke about how her parents raised both her and her younger sister Maya back in the Civil Rights era and where and how they both took after their parents and how it shaped their works today
