Unveiling COVID-19 Transition Advisory Board
On November 9th, 2020, President-elect Joseph Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris unveiled their COVID-19 Transition Advisory Board and took part in their first working virtual team work since being elected on Saturday November 8th.

During their campaign President-elect Joe Biden had elaborated their pandemic plan which has now become an important thing his administration will be working on very quickly. The COVID-19 Scientific Transition Advisory Board team which will be led by Dr. Vivek Murthy, Dr. David Kessler and Dr. Marcella Nunez-Smith. Other members are Dr. Luciana Borio, Rick Bright, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, Dr. Atul Gawande, Dr. Celine Gounder, Dr. Julie Morita, Michael Osterholm, Loyce Pace, Dr. Robert Rodriguez and Dr. Eric Goosby.

The President-elect and Vice President-Elect then held a virtual meeting, discussing the step the team and their administration will be working hand in hand to fight COVID-19 and its aftermath. The Biden-Harris team previously highlighted three steps their administration will always be working with: 1)Listen to science, 2) Ensure public health decisions are informed by public health professionals, 3) Promote trust, transparency, common purpose, and accountability in our government.
