Here's MVP Kamala's schedule for Tuesday:

1) Madam Vice President began the day by hosting a roundtable virtual and in person meeting in the South Court Auditorium on Black Maternal Health Week. She was accompanied by White House Domestic Affairs Advisor, Ambassador Susan Rice as well as black health officials and black mothers who gave their experiences.

Madam Vice President began the meeting by addressing Sunday's killing of Duante Wright in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. She said, '' He should be alive today. And to his family and loved ones, you know must know that the President and I grieve with you as the nation grieves his loss. We stand with you.”

Madam Vice President then spoke about what the Biden-Harris administration has taken as initiatives to tackle the increase in Black and Native American Maternal Mortalities which you can read White House. She also acknowledge that the huge increase is due to the systemic racism which has always been in the Health Care system.

2) She then left the White House for the U.S Capitol where she paid her respect in a Congressional Tribute to the fallen Capitol Police Officer Williams Evans in the Rotunda.

Officer William Evans was slain during an attack on the Capitol perimeter on April 2th by a knife-wielding man crashing a car into a security checkpoint. The killer was later killed by other Capitol Police Officers.

3) After returning to the White House, later in the afternoon, she joined President Biden in the Oval Office where they hosted the leadership and a few members of the Congressional Black Caucus(CBC).
