MVP Kamala's schedule for March 2nd
On Tuesday, Madam Vice President had a busy day.
Starting with joining President Biden in the Oval Office for the President's Daily Briefs.
Then she deliver remarks during a virtual meeting of the House Democratic Issues Conference in the South Court Auditorium of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.

The year's theme is Building Back Better For The People: Justice, Opportunity and Prosperity in Every Zip Code, reflecting House Democrats' commitment to confronting the unprecedented crisis currently facing our country.
Madam Vice President then joined President Biden in the State Dining Room where President Biden gave remarks on the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Later on she gave a courtesy call to Australia's Prime Minister Scott Morrison. This call was to reaffirm US-Australia's bilateral and multilateral relationships, opportunities for further cooperation on global and regional challenges.
According to the read out, amongst what was discussed were: Issues around climate change, China, Burma, other regional issues, the importance of working together, alongside other allies and partners, on promoting economic recovery from the pandemic and advancing democratic values globally. The Vice President and Prime Minister pledged to further U.S.-Australia cooperation in the Indo-Pacific and beyond.
After that, Madam Vice President held a swearing in ceremony for a new member of the Biden-Harris administration. Dr. Miguel Cardona who was picked by the Biden-Harris transition as the nominee for the Education Secretary was confirmed by the Senate on March 1st in a vote of 64 to 33. Secretary Cardona becomes the 12th Head of the Department of Education.
