Here is Madam Vice President's schedule for Thursday:

1) She began the day by joining the President in the Oval Office for meetings and to receive the President's Daily Briefs.

2) Then she went to the Southern Auditorium where she hosted a video call with a diverse group of people she has met since entering office on January 20th.

They discussed the historic passage of the American Rescue Plan and what it will mean for them. She also said that the President and her were dedicated to hearing directly from Americans, following up, and following through on our promises.

3) She then gave a call to the new World Trade Organisation(WTO) Director General Madam Dr. Ngozi Okonkwo-Iweala. Recently Dr. Okonkwo was appointed as the first African woman to sit as Director General of the WTO. 

During the call Madam Vice President congratulated Dr. Ngozi on her historic appointment, they also discuss how to the importance of using trade to promote equity and economic growth, working together to address COVID-19 and its economic and health effects, climate change and many other things

4) Following that she joined President Biden in the Oval Office, where the President signed in the American Rescue Plan which was passed on Wednesday by the House.

5) She then travel to the Department of Justice when she held a swear in and an Oath of Office was administered to a new member of the Biden-Harris' cabinet. Merrick Garland who was nominated by the then President-elect and Vice President-elect to head the Department of Justice as the United States Attorney General.
