MVP Kamala's schedule for February 22nd
Hello, happy new week, long time no write.
On Monday, Madam Vice President Harris joined President Biden in the Oval Office for the President's Daily Briefs
Later on in the evening, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris joined by First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff took part in a second remembrance, moment of silence and candle lightning ceremony for Covid-19 victims at the South Portico in the White House.
When delivering his remarks, President Joe Biden said "The people we lost were extraordinary. They spanned generations. Just like that, they took their final breath alone, in America."
"While we've been fighting this pandemic for so long, we have to resist becoming numb to the sorrow. We have to resist viewing each life as a statistic, or a blur, or on the news," He continued. You can read the entire remarks here.

Earlier in the day, with the USA reaching and biting its own record and the World's number of death related to COVID-19 earlier in the day which is sadly 500,000, President Biden issued a presidential proclamation for all flags on federal and military properties whether in the country or abroad to be lowered to half mast for the next five days.
PS: On Friday February 19th, there wasn't much to write. Other than that Madam Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff travelled to Los Angeles California to spend the weekend. This was the first time since inauguration that the Vice Presidential couple returned to their home state.
It seems they left Washington D.C earlier in the day
